Patek Philippe
Carefully shrouded in secrecy safe within the company's green archive books are the names of the purchasers of Patek Philippe watches. These books include the names of many kings, queens, industry leaders, Heads of State, Hollywood celebrities and other prominent public figures both from historic times and current. Many of the world's leaders and leading personalities who have shaped the realms of entertainment, politics, the arts, and technical achievement have done so wearing a Patek Philippe.
During 1910-1915, Patek Philippe produced only approximately twenty-five watches per day (contrast this with Omega and other fine watch manufacturers that produced 500 - 1,200 pieces per day). Important examples of Patek's pocket watches took between nine-months and one-year to build and than assemble by hand.
